There was a great turnout for the commissioning of PS30 ‘Shirley Clark’ at d’Albora Marina, Nelson Bay on the 21st October 2023.
The new $667,000.00 Rescue Vessel will provide a significant boost to the Port Stephens community.
The new vessel, funded by the NSW Government and community donations, was today named the ‘Shirley Clark’ in honour of the 92-year-old Port Stephens unit member, one of Marine Rescue NSW’s longest serving members.

RAAF No. 2 Squadron, in collaboration with Marine Rescue Port Stephens and CHC Helicopters conduct regular open water survival training exercises in Shoal Bay. The link below accesses the Royal Australian Air Force website with details of these events.
