In a Boating Emergency

Commissioning of PS30 “Shirley Clark”

There was a great turnout for the commissioning of PS30 ‘Shirley Clark’ at d’Albora Marina, Nelson Bay on the 21st October 2023.

The new $667,000.00 Rescue Vessel will provide a significant boost to the Port Stephens community.

The new vessel, funded by the NSW Government and community donations, was today named the ‘Shirley Clark’ in honour of the 92-year-old Port Stephens unit member, one of Marine Rescue NSW’s longest serving members.

Have a look in the Gallery at the photos of the commissioning of the new rescue boat. There are more photos and comments on our Facebook page.
