The MRPS Communications Room, which is manned 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, was in desperate need of new carpet. Carpet Court Nelson Bay spoke to one of their carpet suppliers who were happy to supply a carpet tile at no cost that would help reduce the background noise in the Comms Room. Many of the Carpet Court installers are keen fishermen and happily volunteered their time to lay the carpet.
It is great to see a local business and their employees support a community organization such as Marine Rescue Port Stephens.
