The Port Stephens community is invited to be part of something special with the launch of the Marine Rescue Port Stephens Major Raffle 2026–2027. Not only could you walk away with an incredible prize, but every ticket purchased helps support the vital volunteer crews who work tirelessly to keep our waterways safe.
This year’s exciting first prize is a BD04 Golf Cart valued at $13,000, complete with a Gal flat-bed transport trailer valued at $2,700—the perfect combination for golfers, caravan enthusiasts, or anyone looking for a fun and practical way to get around. The second prize is a Tahwalhi Stand Up Paddle Board valued at $541, ideal for enjoying the beautiful waters of Port Stephens.
Tickets are just $10 each or 3 for $20, making it an affordable opportunity to support a worthy local cause while giving yourself the chance to win fantastic prizes. The raffle will be drawn on 26 January 2027, but don’t wait—tickets are on sale now every day at the Nelson Head Base Radio Room and Gift Shop.
Want to see the grand prize for yourself? Visit the Salamander Bay Shopping Centre on selected Thursday and Friday dates (see below), where the golf buggy will be on display between 9am and 3pm.

The Annual Golf Day Fundraiser

The Marine Rescue Port Stephens Golf Day Fundraiser is teeing off at Horizons Golf Club on 24th May 2027 , and the whole community is invited to get involved. Gather your mates and enjoy a relaxed teams-of-four Ambrose event with a shotgun start, packed with friendly competition, on-course prizes, raffles, and plenty of fun along the way.
For a small cost per person, you’ll enjoy a full round of golf plus lunch, with drinks available on course to keep the good vibes flowing. Golf carts are also available at an additional cost through the Pro Shop.
Most importantly, every swing helps support Marine Rescue Port Stephens, whose dedicated volunteers work tirelessly to save lives on the water. It’s a fantastic way to give back while enjoying a memorable day with friends and fellow locals.
